MIACP2026 Workshop - Abstract Submission Open

Abstract submission is now open for the 2026 QBI workshop on multiplex image analysis which will be held at the La Jolla Institute of Immunology, San Diego, CA on Sept 15th and 16th 2026. Building on previous years’ success, the workshop will continue to cover the development and application of tissue multiplexing techniques, and the technical issues that underlies the analysis of multiplex imaging data. This year we are expanding the scope of the meeting to include computational pathology, which constitutes the analysis of traditional histological images, as it is closely related to the theme of this workshop.

We are soliciting abstracts in all topics related to multiplex image analysis and computational pathology, including but not limited to:

• Cell/nuclear segmentation
• Clustering and dimensionality reduction
• Multiplex imaging and assay validation
• Reproducibility & run-to-run variability
• Cell phenotyping
• Data normalization strategies
• Spatial proximity/neighborhood Analysis
• Biomarker and stain quantification
• Spatial heterogeneity of tumor biomarkers
• Color normalization and scanner color stability
• Virtual staining and quantification
